The founders of the Foundation are the Engineering Academy of Georgia and JSC “Medinserv”. Among the members of the Foundation there are well-known scientists and personalities of Georgia, common citizens, as well as foreign citizens who appreciate the history and culture of Georgia.
The key area in the Foundation's activities has been and remains to be restoration and reconstruction of historical monuments - Georgian Orthodox churches and monasteries. In this light, the Foundation closely cooperates with the Patriarchate and with individual dioceses of Georgia.
As far as possible, the Foundation regularly provides help to socially unsecured citizens as well as to sick people who need medicines and medical treatment.
The Foundation sometimes provides financial support to undergraduate and graduate students who need to pay for their studies.
The Foundation also extends its support for funding of scientific and educational publications; monographs of scientists; materials about the life and achievements of prominent public figures of Georgia; profile encyclopedias and reference books, including those in the area of medicine.
The Foundation intends to establish a special Award in support of the competition for the best work (whether it be a scientific work, a documentary movie or a series of broadcasts in the mass media) that would objectively and earnestly highlight the interaction between science and religion, as two fundamental spheres of worldview and knowledge of reality.
If vision and mission of the Foundation are in harmony with yours, if you have a wish to become a member of the Foundation or to provide, even if very modest, support in any form or in any of the areas of the Foundation's activities, please contact us for further information.
The Foundation is grateful to every like-minded person!
